As a child, Will Stein was moved to a new home and enrolled in a new school every year, as his parents looked to escape debt and inch their way to providing for him a better life. He finally arrived at Prince George’s County at the age of fourteen, when his family was offered a temporary bedroom in the home of a fellow church member, where they resided for a year. Although if you ask him, he’ll tell you that he grew up privileged—knowing he was lucky enough to have both a father and a mother who put family first, who each lived exemplary lives of living for others, and taught their children through their actions.
With little formal education, Stein has tirelessly carved a business path where ethics define policy and honesty drives business. He has become one of the fastest growing real estate brokers in the area by continually defining what is in the best interest of the client, often creating out-of-the-box solutions, and sometimes upsetting other agents as he throws out the status quo.
He is a 50 percent partner of a real estate consulting firm based out of Reston, Virginia, and when Stein is not engaged in real estate, he rides fire trucks within Prince George’s County, and also serves on the board of Local 1619. Stein has been married for eight years to a music teacher and together they have two children, Joseph and Esther.
I am an award-winning public relations professional and journalist with more than 35 years working an a national level and 15 years as a national real estate communicator. A self-employed communicator, I provide communications consulting services to leading companies and non-profits in residential real estate and financial services. My specialties include strategic planning, media relations, writing, data analysis, business to business marketing, social media, crisis communications, public affairs and advocacy.
I edit, co-publish and write for Real Estate Economy Watch, an award-winning site specializing in the residential real estate economy and mortgage finance. Leading real estate sites like Inman, Total Mortgage, HSH.com and Homes.com publish my work.
My background includes print and broadcast news reporting, two tours as a congressional press secretary and senior management positions with the world’s largest independent PR firm and with the National Association of Realtors.
Hassan was born in Chicago, Illinois into a modest middle class family where he grew up with the constant teachings of proper ethics and dedication. Growing up, Hassan’s father taught him the significance of loyalty wherever life may lead him. Dedicating one’s self to those around them will take one far in life. A UMD graduate, now specializing in the sales of new and existing homes in Maryland. Hassan is known for his unwavering reliability, outstanding client dedication, and 24/7 availability. Clients would report Hassan always having their best interests at heart, always being prepared, as well as always being a skilled negotiator, with all the proper knowledge and information. Hassan has always been a firm believer in honesty, and of upholding the highest integrity no matter the circumstances.
Jada is the Office Assistant in charge of the front desk and the needs of each team member. She has been in property management for over 5 years somehow managing to get through school for her Veterinary Assisting license on the side. She continues use her time and skills to work for our clients, and she couldn’t have chosen a better company.
Dianne Faure is both a realtor and attorney who brings the depth and wealth of her experience to every real estate transaction she conducts. Jane Gharfeh is a buyers’ agent with Hometown Properties. Her main focus is to diligently and professionally work with clients to achieve their real estate goals and dreams. Jane’s a small business owner and real estate investor. Her attention to detail, experience in business, ethics, and family values, all reflect in her work. Growing up in Bowie, real estate investment and entrepreneurship is in her blood.
Ryan has 16 years of experience in real estate. Along with providing excellent service to home-buyers and sellers, he has rehabbed many investment properties, operated a remodeling company & built a new construction home.
Ryan is married with three children and enjoys being outdoors, sports, concerts and taking in the many opportunities of living near the Chesapeake Bay, Washington DC & Baltimore.

After a successful career as an award winning wedding photographer Vivian is now in real estate and our exclusive showing agent. Her radiant smile is the first thing many of our first-time clients see! Vivian and her husband have lived in the Bowie area for over 25 years and proud of it. As their family grew, they purchased their second home only three miles away from their first because they knew that there is no better place.

She has a passion for design which was ignited by being an interior designer for a local model home design firm for over 15 years. She shares her Bowie home with a husband, Paul. Her daughters are the light of her life, both attending out of state colleges.

As the Office Manager at Will Stein Realtor, Anna Van Valkenburgh’s passion for helping people shines through. Her role with the company allows her to juggle several tasks at once including; manning the front desk, working on various administrative tasks for the team, handling the needs of clients, and assisting the leadership team. Anna believes that every person deserves to be treated with kindness and honesty and will do everything in her power to make your experience as seamless and pleasant as possible.
Anna was raised in Bowie and loves the city so much that when it came time to settle down, she purchased her childhood home. She and her husband Brock enjoy watching their five children live the great Bowie style life!
Paul is our marketer/videographer/photographer in charge of creating media and promoting properties while also telling client stories and documenting the process of various aspects of getting a house to market. He has background in filmmaking and television and specializes in short-form storytelling and petting dogs.
As the Executive Assistant to Will Stein, Shawn O’Connell is greatly involved in the process with clients of buying or selling their home. His involvement ensures that clients are always given the utter most service and attention at any point in the transaction. His background in real estate, and customer service has given him the knowledge and professionalism to be able to assist both Will and Will’s clients, in a timely, honest, and polished manner.
Shawn grew up in Carroll County and after moving out of Maryland, found himself moving back, and loving every second of it!
